Industrial automation is moving toward more connected, visually driven systems, with operators now expecting the same clarity and touch response they get from consumer devices. Traditional resistive touchscreens, though durable, can feel slow, require firm pressure, and lose accuracy when moisture or debris enters the workspace. As production environments grow more data-intensive, with SCADA dashboards and Andon boards showing real-time metrics, engineers need displays that combine rugged reliability with the speed and sensitivity of modern glass-touch technology.
AutomationDirect’s new C-more CTM series industrial monitors bridge that gap with a 10-point projected capacitive (PCAP) glass touchscreen that delivers smooth, precise control on a crisp widescreen display. Available in 18-, 22-, 24-, and 27-inch models, the CTM series offers operators a bright, high-resolution interface similar to what they’d find on today’s smartphones and tablets.

Modern Touch for Demanding Environments
Each C-more CTM series industrial monitor uses a glass-surface PCAP touchscreen built with a fine matrix of electrodes behind the panel. This allows a light touch to register instantly, even when the operator is wearing gloves.
Unlike older resistive designs, the CTM’s PCAP screen remains responsive when exposed to dust, oil, and water droplets and is less prone to wear over time. This design results in a smooth, modern touch experience that performs reliably in manufacturing, packaging, and utility applications.
The CTM series displays 16.7 million colors at 1920 × 1080 resolution (60 Hz), offering sharp visibility for complex SCADA graphics and real-time process data. This series also comes with a durable LED backlight that ensures consistent brightness and long service life.
Built for Industrial Integration
Each monitor includes VGA, HDMI, and USB Type-B inputs to connect easily to a variety of industrial PCs and controllers. Power is supplied through a 5.5 mm × 2.5 mm barrel connector compatible with a standard 12 V DC supply or via the included terminal-to-barrel adapter for connection to industrial power systems.

Mounting options include panel installation (with up to 20 mounting brackets) and a VESA arm mount, giving integrators freedom to position the screen on control panels, operator stations, or overhead displays. The IP65-rated front bezel guards against water and dust intrusion, while compliance with UL 61010 and a certified drop test confirms shatter resistance and long-term durability.
Clearer, Smarter Operator Interfaces
The C-more CTM monitors are purpose-built for visualization and data display, and are well-suited for SCADA systems, Andon boards, and integration with the C-more CM5-RHMI headless HMI. AutomationDirect has built its monitors to deliver high-performance graphics without the footprint of a full panel PC. The CTM series aims to help operators interact with machines more naturally, without compromising reliability in harsh industrial conditions.
AutomationDirect has engineered the C-more CTM monitors to bring the comfort of modern touch technology to factory floors, merging consumer-grade clarity with the resilience industrial users expect.
